I spent years navigating my own path of disconnection and self-sabotage before I gave myself permission to speak my truth and shine my light — so much that it nearly destroyed me.
On the outside, you could say that I had a “successful life”. I had checked the boxes of what I thought that would look like: Get married. Buy a house. Start a business. Make money. Be famous.
I owned a wellness company that was doing fairly well. I spoke on stages, appeared on TV, and got sponsored by the top brands in my industry.
Yet I was miserable… and I didn’t understand why.
I even studied with various spiritual teachers, thought leaders and shamans to expand my practice, to deepen my gratitude, to feel like I was enough… but I struggled to truly embody anything I learned.
I had dreams of doing something bigger, something different and something more exciting. But everytime I expressed this, those closest to me then would retort, “What’s wrong with you? Why can’t you be normal? Why would you want to change anything?”

In this talk I talk about what trauma is in the body and the human experience and how when we are able to heal it, it reveals our greatest gifts for humanity.
